…And that’s a wrap!

Just like that, another year of the CCCC comes to a close!

This year, the University of Ottawa hosted 13 teams from law schools across the country, spanning coast to coast. We are incredibly grateful to UOttawa for welcoming us and providing the space to make this competition possible.

Six teams advanced to the semi-finals, where they faced an unexpected challenge—their consultation was conducted entirely virtually! From there, three teams moved on to the Finals.

Congratulations to our second and third runners-up, Purvi Dhaliwal and Neha Sree Tadepalli (UAlberta), and Dustin Edwards and Joy Brailean (UAlberta), for their outstanding performances in the Finals.

A special congratulations to Éadaoin O’Gorman and Fionntan Ferris (UOttawa) for placing first overall in the competition! Their excellent performance in the Finals has earned them the opportunity to represent Canada at the International Client Consultation Competition, hosted by the University of Glasgow School of Law in April. We look forward to following their journey as they compete against teams from around the world. Good luck, Fionntan and Éadaoin!

Finally, we extend our deepest thanks to Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP for their generous sponsorship and support of the competition. Their contribution helps make this event possible and allows us to continue fostering excellence in client consultation skills.
